    Curcumin 95™ is an 18:1 concentrate of the antioxidants found in the spice turmeric
    root. Curcumin 95™ contains 95% curcuminoids (including curcumin,
    demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin), which are antioxidants.*

    Specifically, curcumin and its derivatives protect DNA against oxidative damage
    induced by singlet oxygen.* Turmeric in Latin is Curcuma longa. The rhizomes of the
    plant are stem-like and are used as an herb in Asian cooking such as in making curries.
